Up for your consideration is this large Railroad Quail Cuckoo clock. Movement is brass plated marked made in Germany and Faller, which is probably the clock maker. The birds are wood and have articulated wings with moving beaks and are original to the clock. The back door has a double gong. The clock has three chains which have original hooks and stop rings but have rust.Chains may or may not clean up. Inlays are in good condition. Carvings have no repairs but have a few age related small stress cracks. Clock is complete.Wooden dial is 6″ in diameter with nailed on numbers and bone handles. All three bellows are present but will need repapered. All bellows have original tops. The cuckoo bellows are trapazoid. Clock comes with three weights which appear to be original to the clock.Original pendulum comes with clock and appears to be complete. Top is correct to the clock but may be made from composite materials but not certain. Top has grain marks and saw kurf marks on edges. Clock size is 22″ long (with the top on to the base of the carvings). 16 3/4″ wide. 7 3/4″ deep. Buying as is for parts or restore. Overall this would be a very nice clock with proper restoration.
