This week Chamberlain Antiques LLC is very pleased to offer a very important collection of Asian antiques and works of art for auction. The quality of this collection is of amazing quality with some very important examples. All items in this collection will be listed for an opening bid at $9.99 with no reserve.
This auction is for a large and impressive Chinese porcelain vase. The vase is hand painted in the Famille Verte pallette. On the front and reverse of the vase are hand painted reserves of scenes of birds, flowers, and other objects. There are small reserves on the neck with similar scenes. The trim of the vase is done with detailed scrolling and blossoming flowers. Color and detail in the art work is excellent as can be seen in the photos. It is marked on the underside with a double ring in underglaze blue and dates to the 19th century. The vase stands 17.75 inches (45cm) tall and is in with no damage.
