This auction brings you a sensational looking antique shell cameo. The beautiful carving is a maiden nose to nose with a little bird. Her hair is up in a ponytail. The frame on this is 14K gold as verified by my jeweler. Marked along the bottom as well. My guess is that there are 2 to 3 grams of gold. The bale is large, so you can run a nice chain through this.
I’m impressed with the size. Measures 1 1/2″ high and 1 1/4″ across. No damage.
