Killer pair Machine Age Art Deco Streamlined Sconces in Nickel over Bronze with Bakelite like shades…not sure what the exact material is on the shades …it is a hard plastic like material original to the lamps and has a wonderful old patina…Measure 10″ x 5″ and protrude about 3″ from the wall…You will want to use low watt lighting on these to protect the shades…..These are from an old theatre that was torn down here in Houston …have had these for about twenty years and hope they will find a new good home…They are quite a rare form and you wont find any from the period to top these…very heavy construction of nickel over bronze or brass…they are very solid and heavy and wonderfully made…In near mint condition with one shade having small chip/crack as seen and some scuffs here and there on shades and typical discoloration on some shades …pictures show all.
