This is an antique pure
silver Japanese Taisho Emperor Enthronement Commemorative Medal we are offering today. The
medal was authorized by Imperial dated November.1915. (This date is written to
the reverse side of medal by embossing) On the front bottom of the medal you can
see the kanji for BANZAI!, The material of medal is silver. And the emperor’s
chrysanthemum is designed above medal by Gilt.

This medal is a Order of the Rising
Sun (Kyuokujitsusho) Silver 8th class. The order features the Paulonia Leaf
(a symbol of the Imperial family) in silver. Four Kanjis which mean meritorious
service medal on the reverse side of medal.
