THIS IS SOLID 10CT GOLD AND STERLING SILVER.. SO IS MADE OF ALL PRECIOUS METALS.. THE FRONT IS SOLID GOLD TOPPED.. AND IS HALLMARKED AS SUCH..IT IS NOT ROLLED GOLD OR GOLD FILLED.
This is in beautiful Deco Condition and has a large 20 carat ruby red paste stone .that is an Emerald cut … a deep ruby red hue.. It may also be a Created Ruby .. as it has that beautiful rich coloring..
The setting is a rich yellow gold that is solid 10ct gold topped.. and the band at the back and inside is sterling silver and hallmarked as such ….
and is a beautiful Heirloom piece you can hand down to future generations.

HISTORY
It is Circa 1912 – 1920 .. It is stamped inside the shank for 10k Gold TOP which means the front is SOLID TEN CARAT GOLD and the inside and the band are sterling silver….. and has that smooth silky feel usually associated with gold.. its of a high grade.. lots of gold in this , NOT like gold plate which will wear with time.. This will last a lifetime !

it is a lovely LARGE size as stated above, and the front signet measures 1.7cm or just under 11/16″ long by 1.2cm or just under 1/2 “wide ..The band is WIDE at the front and measures 1.8cm and graduates down to 4mm or 3/16” at the back ..and is solid not hollow.
These HUGE chunky rings are becoming so hard to find in this condition… so dont miss this one .. you could wear this as a dress ring for every day wear..
I now use a Mandrell and can accurately measure ring sizes and it measures T 1/2 Australian or 10 USA.
It weighs app 10 grams ..a lovely substantial piece due to the solid gold and sterling silver!
It is in lovely antique condition..will suit the fastidious buyer.
