A vintage locket in good vintage condition except it is missing one of the tiny little stones on the front. A little metal wear on the sides and inside (see pics) but it’s hardly noticable to the naked eye. Inside is an old photo (see below) and a mystery ingredient…might have been a four leaf clover? This measures 1″ wide by 1 1/4″ tall.
This was owned by my great Aunt Hattie Kraunstauber (German enuf for ya?) who passed at the age of 80-ish in 1967 so I estimate the age of this approx. 1915 or so. Lived in Kirtland and Willoughby, Ohio all her life. The picture is of her husband Robert Malchus, whom I never met. I know nothing else about him (I was too young & stupid to know enuf to ask questions and at the time she passed I was only 10 yrs. old! :-(( ). I don’t know if it is a mourning locket or just something she was given when she first met him. Hattie was my grandfather Howard’s older sister.
