is this gorgeous French mantle clock, manufactured in France as I believe around 1830. The clock made from solid bronze with absolutely beautiful 3 bronze figures of putties, which are parting the curtain to show the dial. The clock has wonderful bronze decorations and bronze feet in the form of elephant’s head, as I never seen before. The lower part of the clock case is reticulated and this allows to see moving sunburst pendulum. The clock is approximately 17 1/2″ high, 10″ wide and 8 1/2″ deep and very heavy. The movement has 2 stamps of manufacturer on the back plate. The movement was professionally cleaned and oiled, the mainsprings were changed and now it looks and works perfectly – it runs and strikes on the hours and half hours. The beautiful dial has no chips or hairlines. The back door has a glass in it; the glass has small chip, not very visible. The clock comes with the pendulum and the key. The shipping cost in 48 continental states is $60 with insurance and tracking number.
