GENTS 1893 ANTIQUE SILVER DIAL FUSEE CHAIN DRIVE POCKET WATCH

A Victorian Gents silver dial fusee pocket watch by M.t. Joseph of Newcastle on Tyne. The watch is in full working order and keeping good time.  Key included.

The silver case is in good condition with a clear glass crystal, a silver bow and the rear cover still springs open when the release button is pressed. The case is hallmarked Chester 1893.

The case also has the last three digits of the movement number stamped on the inside, showing that the case and the movement belong together.

The fusee chain driven lever movement is running well in all positions and is complete with its inner dust cover.

The silver dial is in good condition with raised gold numerals and a nice foliate centre.

The watch measures just over 52mm across.

UK postage is £5 special delivery (fully insured)

Overseas postage is £12 International signed for (fully insured)

Please note that most of my watches are well over a hundred years old and that accuracy can vary. Anything within two or three minutes a day is regarded keeping good time.
