A fine portrait miniature of a 19th century gentleman, painted in watercolour on ivory, housed in its original, ebonised papier maché and gilt frame, with green silk lining sheet to reverse.
Condition:The portrait is in very good condition, with no marks or paint loss to the image area. The frame is in good antique condition with some signs of wear and tear to the edges, cracks to the lacquer and a slightly loose hanger. The glass is in good antique order, with no cracks or chips – Please see images below for further details.
