This week Chamberlain Antiques LLC is very pleased to offer a very important collection of Asian antiques and works of art for auction. The quality of this collection is of amazing quality with some very important examples. All items in this collection will be listed for an opening bid at $9.99 with no reserve.
This auction is for a very fine and well made early Chinse bronze statue. The statue depicts a figure seated on a group of rocks. He is seated with his legs crossed and holding an item in his left hand. It appears to be an early statue, our guess is that it dates to the late Ming Dynasty or possible early Qing. It shows great patina as can be seen in the photos. It stands 7 inches (17.75cm) tall. Overall the statue is in nice condition. There is a loss to one of the fingers on his righ hand. Also the base is split but it is hard to tell if it was part of the making. Still displays very well.
