Hi,This is a very old brass/bronze Amount Purchase National cash register top!
We found this while we were digging up old bottles at a old Maine dump site.
We are antique dealers so we know enough to leave it alone and just sell it.
It is in great solid shape with some tarnish on the surface that could be cleaned easily.
It is made of a brass/bronze type metal measuring 14 1/2″ hole to hole x 4 5/8″ wide.
