C1900 ANTIQUE BRASS MICROSCOPE E.LEITZ WETZLAR – GREAT CONDITION

A beautiful polished brass/lacquered microscope made by Ernst Leitz Wetzlar circa 1900-1905. It displays beautifully and is in full working order. It has a coarse adjuster and a fine adjuster for focusing. Both adjusters operate smoothly and freely as they should. It has a double holder for the objective lenses. The objective lenses are E.Leitz Wetzlar No3 and No7. The eyepiece is an E.Leitz Wetzlar No3. It comes with a mechanical stage transition slide holder, with X & Y axis’s. It clamps around the base of the fine adjuster. The serial number is 72241. The height measures approx 29cm at its shortest and 40cm fully extended, with the lens tube vertical.
