B890 JOSEON Dynasty Handwritten Manuscript Document or Letter old Korean Antique

[img[width=”300″ alt=B890 JOSEON Dynasty Handwritten Manuscript Document or Letter old Korean Antique]]

Korea’s Chosun Dynasty (1392 to 1945) considered less valued–and even looked down on–commerce and industry; as a result, writers (scholars) were the only ones who received preferential treatment in the country. <Japanese Occupation (1910-1945)>
Chosun’s scholars actively devoted their time into writing, leaving a vast number of great manuscripts. Because it was extremely difficult to learn ancient Chinese characters, it was the writing classes’ privilege to learn and use them.

I am finding a lot of excellent old manuscripts through Korea’s antique auctions and antique collectors. We will continue to find valuable books. Your steady attention and auction biddings would be strongly appreciated. Thank you.
