Antique,late victorian circa 1900 solid silver horse shoe mounted dress brooch decorated at the end points with reliefed flower heads and ball stud details to the rims,the horse shoe is hand engraved but somewhat rubbed of detail from cleaning over the years,the bar to the brooch is similarly hand turned at the rims but again somewhat worn from age,the back of the brooch is secured with original pin and clasp intact and in working order,the brooch is marked for sterling silver with the makers mark ‘AJS’ will benefit from a gentle clean and polish,.
