Description: This is one of two scrapbooks we are listing. Both are from the same estate, but are a couple generations apart and of quite different style. Be sure to check out our other listing if you are a scrap book collector – we are always happy to combine shipping on multiple purchases.
This scrap book dates from about 1908 – 1910. The embossed depicts a peacock, peacock feathers, a hummingbird and flowers. There are 84 pages which carry a variety of paper – die cuts, trade cards, greeting cards, postcards in addition to a couple photos and programs. Pictures of beautiful ladies and girls are predominant along with flowers, cats, and baby chicks. We’ve tried to show as many examples as possible but obviouslyl we can’t show all the pages! Nearly all the pages are full, just a few are half full. If you are looking for something specific or have about the scrap book, please feel free to ask questions.
Condition: In Picture #11, you can see that the spine of the scrap book has become separated from the pages. We believe this can be repaired. There are one or two loose pages – the rest have managed to hold together. It appears that some cards may have been removed at some time and that caused some damage to the page. The page edges are worn, there are a couple tears. We’ve shown the most damaged page in Picture #12 – not sure what happened there! If you have any specific questions about the condition of the scrap book, again, please ask!

International Bidders: Please take shipping costs into consideration before bidding – not after!!!!!!
WE ALWAYS SHIP WITHIN 2 BUSINESS DAYS. IF THIS IS NOT FAST ENOUGH, WE WOULD RATHER YOU CHOOSE ANOTHER SELLER THAN GIVE US A LOW RATING FOR SHIPPING TIME!!! PARCEL POST IS OUR STANDARD METHOD OF SHIPPING AND CAN TAKE UP TO 9 BUSINESS DAYS FOR DELIVERY (ALTHOUGH IT’S USUALLY LESS). IF YOU NEED IT SOONER, PLEASE REQUEST PRIORITY SHIPPING.
Payment is by PayPal ONLY and is due within three (3) days of auction close. IF YOU HAVE LESS THAN 5 FEEDBACK RATINGS, YOU MUST CONTACT US BEFORE BIDDING ON OUR ITEMS. IF YOU DO NOT CONTACT US, YOUR BID WILL BE CANCELLED. If you cannot agree to these terms, we’re sorry, but you may not bid on our items. NO EXCEPTIONS.
is by USPS Parcel Post or, if requested, USPS Priority unless item qualifies for First Class or Media Mail. Item usually ships within two business days of payment received. Speed of delivery depends on your location and method of shipment (Parcel Post can take up to 9 days; Priority can take up to 3 days). We charge a minimal 50 cents for handling and packaging of domestic items; $5 for international items. Beyond that, you pay ONLY for ACTUAL postage and Delivery Confirmation (to protect us both!) Insurance is added, at our expense, to items with a final auction price of $100 or more. Please keep these things in mind when leaving feedback for shipping time and costs. We do strive for a 5-Star rating!
Worldwide shipping is available via USPS Priority International only. WE DO NOT SHIP FIRST CLASS INTERNATIONAL. We will not declare the item a gift or indicate a lesser value on customs forms, so PLEASE DO NOT ASK.
WE DO NOT QUOTE INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING RATES BEFORE THE END OF THE AUCTION and the Ebay calculator is not always correct, so please do not make payment until we have invoiced you. International bidders may estimate their shipping costs by inputting the dimension and weight information given for the item at the appropriate places on the Web site www.usps.com. However, the final actual cost of USPS Priority International shipping will be determined at the time of invoicing. AGAIN… we do not quote international shipping costs before the end of the auction. Insurance is included in the cost of USPS Priority International shipping.
WE ARE ALWAYS HAPPY TO COMBINE SHIPPING ON MULTIPLE PURCHASES!!!
Please ask any and all questions before bidding. Please contact us through the Ebay mail system ONLY. We do our best to describe items thoroughly. However, you may know or want to know something we haven’t thought of. We inspect our items thoroughly and twice over, acknowledging any and all defects or flaws in the listing details. We do not accept returns or provide refunds unless we have grossly erred in describing the item which you have purchased. All fragile items are securely wrapped in bubble wrap and packing peanuts. Refunds for an item that arrives damaged or broken due to shipping will not be considered for a refund unless the item is in its original, unopened wrapping. Keep in mind that nearly all our items are antiques or vintage and, as such, are pre-owned.
