I am so pleased to offer this Antique Victorian 10k Rose Gold & GF RUBY SLIDE Watch chain, which can be used as a ladies watch chain or doubled over and worn as a necklace with your favourite locket. This chain has all gold soldered links and would support any size locket and the little central garnet in the center of the slide sets it off beautifully the chain is a soft rose gold hue and the slide is a yellow gold hue of old.. some lights the chain is more buttery .. the fob swivel is also a soft rose gold hue.
It is 127cm or 50″ in length .. and weighs over 13 grams twice as heavy as most of its kind due to its thicker links

The links on this are a flat link so looks great with a LARGE or small locket. the gold french paste locket in thephotos is not currently for sale as it is my private locket but it may be for sale at a later date.. .. but its that lovely buttery hue with a rose gold blush the slide being a a more yellow gold .. .
It is that soft antique rose gold color that buttery hue with a PINK GOLD BLUSH .. . and the GARNET Slider is a BUTTERY YELLOW GOLD a lovely but subtle contrast..so highly sought after .. .
.DESCRIPTION AND SIZING .
It measures 127cm or 50″ in overall length and the curblink chain is lovely and it has a rose gold filled fob clasp or swivel on one end.The swivel still has wonderful tension and spring…you can wear this doubled or wear it as a long drop.
Any dark shadows appearing on the slide are reflection only due to its high shine.
HISTORY
It is Circa 1900
The fine curb chain measures 2mm or just undere 1/8″ in width and the 127cm or 50″ wearable length looks fabulous on the neckline doubled over to be 63.5cm or 25″ which is a lovely length for a large locket..so very flattering . The slide is 9mm long or just under 3/8″in size.

The chain is not hallmarked for gold content but the slide tests as solid 10k gold and the fob and chain are they are gold filled.. very common for these pieces .. . . ..
Antique Gold Filled or Double DÓr such as this one is considered to be equivalent in quality to todays low karat gold. This one is of a lovely quality, these look great for everyday wear with a locket….I wear mine constantly……so very versatile..!!
It really is exquisite , and will one day become a lovely family heirloom piece to hand down to future generations. This is in truly wonderful condition.

The photos do not depict its beauty of the antique old pink gold color, and they appear brassy and rather dull and dark.. .but it is much much nicer in person. ….Please check my feedback so you may feel confident bidding with me..
