Offered for your bid is an antique 1892 – 1907 Pickard Alexander covered biscuit dish hand painted with poppies and thick gold enamel on a Tressemann & Vogt blank, the finest of all Limoges. The T V mark dates 1892- 1907, The Pickard mark 1905 – 1910 and was the first used in the Ravenswood Studio , Chicago. This piece measures 6″ tall by 9″ in diameter. There is wear to the gold on the handles, lid rim and finial. No chips or cracks …. Would make a nice addition to any antique Limoges/ Pickard porcelain collection.
