Its great French 1881 Bayonet (1881 year see picture). Bayonet is used but in good condition. All parts are original. Mechanism for connection with rifle is working very well see picture. Bayonet has original scabbard. On one picture you can see that number on handle of bayonet and scabbard is the same one (number 55480). One side of blad has two original markings see picture. Size length 25, length of blade 20 1/2, maximum width is 1, these sizes are in inches. This bayonet is not only a weapon but a historic piece as well. This bayonet would be a great addition to your collection.
