This auction is for a very pretty antique Simon & Halbig “Little Women Type” doll. She is all original and does not have any damage. She is well marked S & H 1160 on the back of her shoulder plate and 9/0 on the front of her shoulder plate. She has glass inset eyes and a closed mouth. Her original wig is done in the original fancy curls. She has white bisque lower arms and white bisque lower legs with painted 2 strap shoes with tiny heels. Her body/torso is cloth stuffed and is also orignal. The clothing is fabulous in design but does have some soil/tiny holes from age. The skirt and top are made of satin with lace trim and pearl beads for buttons. The train of the outfit that comes down from the shoulders of the top is made of satin brocade. The slip and pantaloons are made of fine organdy or cotton with lace trim. There is some type of wire stand that is covered with a fabric thread. The doll measures 6″ tall and would be a wonderful addition to your dollhouse or for display. Please email or if you need other photos.
