This auction is for a lovely Double Albert watch chain/guard made from Sterling Silver, full Birmingham Hallmark.The piece dates from 1899, with a Birmingham assay mark, the Lion passant, and the date letter z.Each link is stamped with the lion passant.The T-Bar, chain, clips and fob all match for date.Makers mark reads E.W&S on clips and T-bar
The total weight is 65g.The chain is approx 44cm, 17.3″ long from clip to clip.
