Antique Silver Albert Pocket Watch Chain T-Bar & Fob 26g Bir 1904
This one is an antique sterling silver Albert pocket watch chain with graduated curb links, a t-bar and an ornate silver shield fob and a working dog catch. Each link of the graduated chain is hallmarked with the lion passant sterling silver mark. The dog catch works well and closes tightly shut, the hallmark cannot be read. The t-bar hallmark bears the hallmark for sterling silver Birmingham 1904, makers mark JS*D. The fine quality silver fob bears a gold raised cartouche with an inscription. To the reverse is a stamp for sterling silver.
Weighs in at 26.8 grams approx.
Measurements: 10 & 1/4 inches long approx. Not including the extra 2 & 1/2 inches of chain attached to the fob.
Defects: The chain links do have some wear the lion passant is hard to read on some of the links. Please see photos.
