Circa early 20th century I believe. USA.
Purchased from the estate of the (deceased) owner of a local bar. The poster was professionally framed under plexiglass/Plexiglas when I bought it (as
shown). The
frame appears to be circa 1960s-70s. There are 2 mounting holes in the frame center top and bottom, suggesting it was at one time displayed in the bar (on the
other hand, the frame does not smell of cigarette smoke as one might expect if it had been displayed in a bar). I have documented my removal of the poster
from the frame below.
for this poster will be significantly cheaper if you choose not to take the frame. The frame is somewhat cheap-looking — we think the poster
deserves a nicer frame and presumably the new owner might agree.
CONDITION:
POSTER:
The poster has been trimmed on all four sides.
Otherwise the poster is in excellent, all original condition. No other damages/alterations/modifications and no significant wear. No restorations.
No tears, holes, stains, brittleness, etc. No significant discoloration or toning (the poster was separated in the frame from the cardboard back by heavy white
paper that exhibits no toning or yellowing whatsoever). No noticeable fading. Colors are bright and strong.
Paper is supple with no condition issues.
A few scattered, very faint/superficial scratches in margins — nothing at all significant / conspicuous.
Possibly a few faint, horizontal roll marks but no creasing or folding.
Displays beautifully.
FRAME:
The frame is generally in very good condition with no damages.
Some all over wear, including scattered rubs and scratches.
No chips, splits, breaks, looseness.
Mounting holes drill center top and bottom.
No reserve!

LOCAL PICKUP: The winning bidder is always welcome to pick up the item in person and save all shipping and packaging costs. We are located in Omaha, Nebraska. As long as the item is paid for in full within one week of the end of auction, we will be happy to store any item for up to three months, free of charge. So if you are considering driving to pick up your item in order to save the shipping costs, you can take up to three months to do so, as long as you pay within one week of the end of auction. We are available for pick ups Monday through Friday, 10am to 4pm.

We accept Paypal. Nebraska residents must pay 7% sales tax.
We require full payment within one week of the end of auction. If we don’t receive payment within one week, the item will be re-listed.

WHAT TO DO IF AN ITEM ARRIVES DAMAGED:
Inform us immediately by email if your item arrives damaged. The shipper may want to inspect the original packaging so please do not throw away any packing materials. Save bubble-wrap, cardboard wrap, peanuts and all original boxing. DO NOT send back to us for a refund, we must file a claim with the shipping company whenever an item is damaged in shipping. We will contact the shipper on our end and initiate the claim once we have made contact with you.
PRIVATE FEEDBACK: If you are the winning bidder on this item and your feedback profile is private, we may ask you to temporarily make your profile public before completing the transaction. In such cases we would only require that you do so long enough for us to examine your profile. If your feedback profile is private and you aren’t willing to do this, please do not bid.
