This auction is for a roll of antique French silk 1/4″ ribbon roll. This was purchased form Theriaults Dollmasters division and they described it as wonderful old store stock of French silk ribbon circa 1900 woven in a rich ivory cream color. Perfect for accessorizing your doll costumes or for your doll’s hair. 15 yards of 1/4″ width. I have not unrolled the ribbon to measure myself so I am going on what I was told when I purchased it.The paper on front of roll is marked Creme 202 and on the back the numbers 2 then 1 then 8. It has a small pin holding end of ribbon onto roll. Roll measures 3 1/2″ wide and old paper on front and back shows some age spots. Lovely antique French silk ribbon for your collection or to use for making wonderful doll costumes! Starting price is way below retail so have fun bidding!
