18th century English master portrait of a Lady, oil on canvas. Exquisite and incredibly beautiful period portrait of a Lady circa late 1700’s. The quality and condition are very good and comes in a gilt swept frame. The treatment of the light from the left along with the artists ability to paint silks with pleasing finesse stand as testament to a leading portrait painter working during the period.
