This auction is for a very nice hand scythe corn hook. It has a curved blade and a wood handle. It is in good + condition with surface rust on the blade. The wood handle has a crack that runs the length and is repaired with black tape on both ends. It measures 14 1/2″ long overall. The blade measures 12″ long. This item is in as found condition and has not been cleaned. It would make a great addition to any collection or use for decoration. We regret these actions we have to take, but website has made it impossible for us to send any items where the shipping is significant.
We at Red Cedar Mercantile strive to give our customers the very best service we can offer. The items we sell are Old, Antique, and Vintage. They are NOT in Near Mint or Mint condition. We describe the items to the best of our ability, but we can not anticipate every question a bidder may have. PLEASE read the description and look at the pictures provided. If additional information is needed please ask questions before bidding.
By placing a bid on this auction the buyer is entering into a legal and binding contract and are accepting ALL the following Terms and Conditions.
PAYMENT:
Winning bidder will receive an website invoice from us after the auction ends with payment information, and payment must be received within 7 days after the end of the auction.
Payments received during our regular business hours of 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM Central Time, Thursday thru Monday, will ship the next shipping day after receipt of payment. We ship on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday mornings. Payments received after 5:00 PM Central Time will be processed the next business day and will ship on the next shipping day after being processed.
Items paid for with PayPal e-checks will ship when we receive conformation that the e-check has cleared.
Wisconsin residents, will be charged 5.5% sales tax or supply a resale #.
SHIPPING:
Buyer pays shipping and handling which can be calculated by clicking on the shipping and payments tab above.
Items will ship to a confirmed PayPal address only. If you have an unconfirmed address listed with PayPal we will send the winning bidder up to 3 requests to confirm their address. This conformation can be in the form of a message through the messaging system stating that the address is correct. If after the 3rd request we receive no response from the buyer the item will be sent to the address listed with PayPal and the buyer accepts full responsibility for items sent to the wrong address.
We combine shipping on auctions that end on the same day. Please do not pay for your items until we can send an invoice with the combined shipping.
RETURN POLICY:
Please read our return policy terms carefully. If any one requirement is not fulfilled this return policy is null and void.
The item must be significantly misrepresented.
The buyer must contact us within 14 days of receipt of the item.
The item must be shipped back via the same shipping and packaging method as it was originally sent. For example: if it was shipped Priority Mail it must be returned using Priority Mail.
The item must be insured during the return shipping if the item was insured when originally sent to buyer.
The return must have delivery conformation and the number must be e-mailed to the seller as soon as the item is shipped.
The item must be received back within 7 working days from the date we were contacted regarding the problem.
The buyer is responsible for all return shipping, insurance (if needed), and delivery conformation.
Once the item has been returned, inspected and found to be in the same condition and is the same item that was shipped, a refund will be given for the bid amount and original shipping only. No return shipping charges will be refunded.
