Beautiful OLD Victorian Hat Pin. This one is my favoriate from my collection. I have been collecting hatpins for over 20 years and this one is special. Wonderful detail on this vintage hat pin. It is a gold colored metal. The butterfly is in 3-D relief and looks like it landed on a blackberry limb with leaves. It has multiple colored stones. It has a larger oval faceted yellow stone as the body of the butterfly. The other smaller stones are on the body of the butterfly and around the outside of the hat pin head. They range is color and are all faceted glass from purple, green, blue, pink and yellow. On the back side of the hatpin head, the yellow stone is open to allow more light. It is marked in the metal 5362. This hat pin is all original and just a beauty! It measures approximately 10 1/2 inches long and the head of the hatpin is approximately 1 3/4 inches wide. The steel pin has a little rough feel and has a very slight bend but doesn’t detract in my opinion. It displays beautifully.
