You are viewing a nice antique oak & mahogany cased 8 day longcase clock for restoration.
The clock was made around 1830-40.
It is in good condition for its age, the 8 day movement looks to be complete other than for the hands & bell, the 13″ arch dial has some chips & some rust spots in the arch.
The oak & mahogany case is in good condition, it has some lifting of the veneer on the surround of the door & base due to storage in our barn for the last 6 months, the hood door retains the original glass, the trunk door has a lock & key.
The clock measures 89 inches tall by 22 inches wide by 9.5 deep.
It does not have any weights or a pendulum with it.
The clock can be collected from Blackburn in Lancashire or we can deliver and set it up locally for the cost of fuel or it can be sent by specialist antique carrier who can also set the clock up if required within the UK mainland for £80, delivery by carrier can take up to 15 working days but is usually quicker than that.
