You are a beautiful piece of Louis Vuitton history. What we have is large antique Louis Vuitton Monogram trunk circa roughly 1925-1930. This trunk is in excellent overall condition. Inside serial number: Indecipherable, and lock serial number : 106713. Key not included.
Outside: The hand-painted LV monogram and finish of the outside is free of any major signs of damage. There is dark brown leather trim lining the outside edges stamped with hundreds of visible LV’s. You will find a few original stickers boasting the trunks travels, one reading Washington DC. These stickers could easily be taken off without damaging the finish. Each brass nail head is stamped reading Louis Vuitton, as well as the brass hardware. The leather handle is in good shape and clearly original.
Inside: Included is the original tray, again very clean, free of any watermarks, major stains or damage. The words Louis Vuitton is visible in each of the 3 tray straps, also on the brass buckles. The inside as a whole is in very very good condition. There is little odor or damage. Opening and closing the trunk works well. The locks/latches all work great. The leather seam on the back where the top meets the bottom (which in many cases is cracked) is intact and in good condition. More pictures maybe available upon request.
