You are a vintage carved figural pipe, intricate details of claws that look like eagle talons. Marked with the shamrock and KB&B logo. Has threaded bowl. Pipe looks to be made of gutta percha. Large in size. Overall measures 10.5″. Bowl is 3.5″ tall. With of opening is 1″. Very handsome pipe. Used an in excellent shape. One of the nicest pipes I have seen. No damage or repairs.
KBB were Kaufman Brothers and Bondy, founders of the Kaywoodie line. The logo then dropped the lettering to become the well known clover leaf.
The KBB tradmark was registered in 1881. Beautiful to your collection.
