is a fine antique framed Italian micro mosaic plaque. The plaque in its frame measures 2 7/8″ long and 2 1/2″ wide. All of the decorative work on the oval plaque is made up of thousands of tiny pieces of multi colored glass that are arranged to create the image of a dancing girl. The frame is wooden and shows some damage on the back. There is also a crack on the top middle of the frame.
The work is beautiful and exceptional. The micro mosaic has been laid with precision skill and has a brilliant attention to detail.
