These KHOND SHRINE SCULPTURES originally have been used by the Tribal Village Population of remote tribal Areas of East India as a shrine ritual offering. They only used them during important annual festivals and ceremonies, otherwise kept hidden in a basket at home or in a house shrine.
This great high aged SHRINE BRONZE consists of high quality metal alloy and shows a great stylized BIRD FIGURE with funny head, elongated body with wings and tail. The surface with geometric patterns.
Superb smooth aged darkened original shrine patina !!!
Condition: great high aged condition, wonderful smooth aged and darkened ritual patina, excellent signs of age and ritual use.
