Description
Here is an antique gold plated half hunter pocket watch with black enamelled Roman Numerals on the outer case and an enamelled dial with a smaller seconds dial too.
The casing states STAR DENNISON Watch Case Co Ltd.
The movement states SWISS MADE on the wheel on top.
A crown wind, this watch is NOT working but the balance staff is fine. Being sold as spares or repair.
It measures approx 50mm in diameter.
It weighs 107 grams.
In GOOD structural condition, the gold casing should polish up nicely. The dial has a couple of small cracks and is missing the hand from the small seconds dial. The crown loop has wear to the gold plate revealing the metal underneath. The watch is not working, sold as spares or repair.
READ THIS ABOUT RETURNS All watches are described as best I can..all have come from deceased estate live auctions and may have never been wound in years …so I do recommend a service on them all. Time keeping not checked either. If the balance wheel & staff are in working condition remember this does not mean the watch will actually work..it could have any number of problems with it. The watch MUST be returned to me in the condition I sold it to you…no messing about with them or getting a 3rd party to take a look then charging me thereafter …sold as SPARES – REPAIR ONLY… No Exceptions!
