Description
This is a antique c1880 original french white marble and gilt metal mantel clock dating to circa 1880 with blue painted panels
cassical design to the clock with a gilt metal and white marble design with a urn to top and gilt metal handles to sides and gilt metal flower moulding on top. With gilt metal motif to base with a circular blue painted panel in middle, the clock sits with 6 gilt metal ajustable feet which can help with the balancing of the clock
There are 4 circular blue painted panels around the out side of the dial, it has white marble scrolls to each side that also have a blue painted panel in the centre
clock has majestic proportions and measures 16 inches high x 10 inches wide x 5.25 inches deep
original white marble dial with brass raised roman numerals and gold french hands with two winding holes for movement
original french brass 8 day bell striking movement which features an anchor escapement and strikes the bell on half and full hour counting the hours on the hour with original pendulum and a new winding key
movement is in full working order keeping excellent time and striking the bell when it should and tested without any problems
Condition Report
The clock is showing its age as has had some miner knocks to a couple of the bottom corners and has had a repair to the back of the clock but has been done to a decent standard. The gilded motif’s look to of been redone at some point but have a good colour to them, the blue painted panels are all fading
the dial is in great undamaged condition
shipping prices for countrys outside the uk will include a custom made wooden crate for shipping, uk shipping prices dont include a wooden crate but buyers have an option weather or not to have wooden crate custom made, there will be a small charge of £15 per wooden crate to cover material costs but are well worth having to ensure safe delivery, please contact us to arrange this after purchasing

Please note: All our antique clocks are tested in the workshop for a period of 8 days and working condition is described above, some clocks will work fine without problem, some will have faults but these will be clearly stated in the condition report above
All antique clocks no matter where you buy them from be it auction, antique shop, clock dealer, clock specialist, internet will need setting up properly, fine adjustment and setting into beat when moved and transported, there is plenty of information available on the internet to help you with this but if you have any problems at all then you can contact me and i can send you some information to try and help you, please note a confident clock person / specialist may be required
Packing & shipping
We pack all items professionally using plenty of packaging materials and custom made wooden crates where applicable to ensure all items are recieved in the condition they left us, countrys outside the uk shipping prices include a wooden crate, uk have an option weather or not to have wooden crate, there will be a small charge of £15 per wooden crate to cover material costs but are well worth having to ensure safe delivery
we will use professional couriers to transport the parcels from us to you and these will provide a full online tracking number so you can keep an eye on the parcel as soon as it leaves me
countries outside the e.u may have custom delays and customs charges import duties ect all of which i cannot control (please contact your local customs office to find out if fees aply to you) however, i will send all relevant customs forms and certificates with the parcels to minimise any delays as much as possible

We offer a guarantee on all our items for your piece of mind so if you are not completely happy with the clock when it arrives then all you need to do is pack it up safely and return it back to us to the address below in the condition you recieved it and we will issue a full refund to you excluding return shipping costs
