ANTIQUE FRENCH REGENCY CARVED OX BONE BRISE FAN c1820
A very pretty brise fan which I believe is French in origin and dates to circa 1810-30. The fan is beautifully and skillfully carved with floral detail throughout. The ribbon threading has been replaced at some point although from the style of silk ribbon used, I would say that it was replaced pre 1940s. One stick appears to be missing as the lattice stick on the far left should be mirrored on the right but is not. A tiny bit of damage to one guard as seen in photo 2 and the mother of pearl pin on one side has a chipped edge otherwise the fan is in nice condition. It measures 6.5 inches long.

DELIVERY I use International signed for or airsure insured service. Where
overseas items exceed 2kg in weight I use an international courier service. Customers are responsible
for all import and local taxes. I will always provide tracking references where
