Blackberry Form Sterling Thimble

* Hallmarked 1912
This antique
sterling silver thimble has a blackberry
and leaf design decorating the band. It’s
about an American size 8. It
has
the English
sterling hallmarks for Birmingham 1912 and
the
maker’s mark for W. J. Myatt
& Co. (a bit rubbed).
It has some
wear but is in overall nice
condition, in round with no
holes, repairs or other damage. A blackberry thimble with a
similar band design is
shown on p. 83 of Bridget McConnel’s book The
Story of the Thimble.
