Antique Edwardian gipsy set diamond solitaire ring, 18ct gold, Birmingham 1902
This is a beautiful Edwardian 18ct gold ring set with an old-cut diamond in a star-shaped gipsy setting with scroll decorated shoulders.
The diamond is 3mm in diameter, clear and sparkling. I am not a gemmologist so I am reluctant to give my asssessment of the diamond but hopefully the photographs tell all.
The ring is a UK size S (see photo) and weighs 3.6g. The hallmarks are crisp and clear and the ring is in . The diamond is secure in its setting.
