For sale is what I believe to be an old reverse painted Dr. Pepper soda fountain counter or clock glass advertising piece. I tried taking pictures with different colored backgrounds to try to give you the full effect of this piece, but I believe it would show best with some type of background lighting. There were 10 of these found in an old warehouse in Virginia. I only have 4 left. Piece is in remarkable condition for its age, with no cracks or scratches. The Lion and the slogan, “King of Beverages” was used by Dr. Pepper in the early 1900’s. Sign may have very minor paint loss (but less than the one pictured). Glass measures 12 1/2″ x 12 1/2″. I have researched this piece and found very few like it. The piece can also be seen in the Dr. Pepper Museum in Waco, TX as I have donated one to them. I have seen clocks with a smaller piece of glass with this design and a nice oak clock with the same size glass showing a different design.
