1923 HAMILTON 992L 21 Jewel GOLD Filled Size 16 Pocket Watch
This auction is for a wonderful vintage pocket watch. Be sure to view the pictures and you will see this is an authentic HAMILTON WATCH COMPANY pocket watch made in the USA. According to the movement Serial number #1709046, this watch was manufactured in approximately 1923 with a 992L 21 JEWEL adjusted movement. This watch is approximately 50 MM in diameter, Size 16, measured without the crown and weighs a total of 89.5 Grams.
The crystal is intact but soiled. The dial has a number of hairline cracks and chips. This is a lever set watch and crown will engage to set but not wind. All hands are present. Watch movement WAS NOT working at the time of this listing, but as movement has not been inspected or tested for accuracy, it may require a cleaning, adjustment or repair to return to working order. Case is hallmarked inside for GOLD FILLED. The case is plain, but very worn with a couple dents. Signs of BRASSING were noted on bow and high points.
