A magnificent and extremely rare Antique Chinese silver enamelled in blue lock with beautiful silver repousse work and a matching enamelled silver necklace consisting of 70 stunning links. The necklace is detachable (can be separated from the large lock).
The enamel silver lock is very large in size measuring 4-3/4″ x 3-3/4″ (12cm x 10cm) x 15mm high. At the center are 4 Chinese characters with 3 people playing in a garden scene surrounded by various fruits, birds, flowers, leafs, butterflies, etc. The 70 enamelled silver links are in turquoise blue, sapphire blue and amethyst colors with patterns of double fish, coins, Chinese characters in various shapes.
The necklace is 40″ long without counting the large lock. Excellent workmanship and great details. Total weight of the necklace and the lock is 190 grams. In excellent antique condition. Circa 1900.
