Up for bid is a recent Estate Auction find, an Antique 1920’s Art Deco Natural FIERY Solid Opal 10k Solid White Gold Men’s Ring in EXCEPTIONAL NEAR MINT CONDITION. This Original 1920’s Art Deco 10k Solid White Gold ring is set with a 14x12mm Natural Solid Opal with ELECTRIC GREEN with FLASHES OF BLUE FIRE. There is not a single spot on this opal without Color! Again this is opal has VIVID ELECTRIC GREEN Fire that is very visible in the entire opal! Also the luster of this opal is marvelous! This is a semi-translucent base solid opal meaning light can pass easily into the opal giving fantastic depth of color. This all Natural Solid Opal possesses depth of color that is very nice. This Amazing All Natural Opal has not been treated or color enhanced in any way and is guaranteed as such. This Opal is an Octagonal Cabochon Cut with beautifully sloped edges. Cabochon refers to a gemstone that has been shaped and highly polished instead of being faceted. We took quite a few photos of this stunning opal under different lighting conditions to give an idea of the abundance and brightness of the fire and where it occurs. As you move the opal the fire shifts beautifully in brightness and range of colors. This opal is held securely by a complete bezel setting. This Opal is in PERFECT PRISTINE CONDITION and is free of any chips, nicks, cracks or scratches. This Solid 10k White Gold Setting has beautiful HAND ENGRAVED Details on the reticulated shoulders of the setting and around the emerald. This classic 1920’s Art Deco ring also has fantastic Hand Milgrain details around the bezel. Milgrain edging looks so beautiful, appealing and interesting because the beaded patterns is able to make the ring’s edge resemble the edge of a coin. A specialized jeweler’s hand tool is used to create interesting texture that is said to resemble tiny beading or embroidery. This ring is marked “10k†and tests as and is guaranteed to be 10k solid gold. Regarding Ring Sizing: Be wary of any online seller that offers sizing of a ring before it is shipped to you. Due to differences in measuring devices and the way certain types of rings fit these rings should only be sized in person by your local jeweler. Sizing by your local jeweler is relatively inexpensive and you will have a ring that properly fits your finger. All size 9 rings are not the same. The ring may fit on a mandrel and measure as a size 9 but the way the ring is made, the way the ring has been enlarged or reduced, and the finger type you have may make it fit like an 8 or 10 or worse. Have your sizing done in person for a proper fit.

The tall measurement is the distance from the bottom or shank of the ring to the middle peak of the gemstone most easily measured when wearing the ring and placing the hand flat on the table and measuring the height of the ring from the table. The wide measurement is the width of the ring from outside to outside at the widest point when looking at the ring from the top. The rise from the finger measurement is the height of the ring from the finger to the peak of the gemstone when worn.
All of our photos are taken using DAYLIGHT BULBS with a color temperature of 5000k so the colors in the photos are extremely close to a true representation of the actual color of the rings and gemstones. We DO NOT retouch or Photoshop our photos.
