Up for bid is a ring we acquired from a recent Estate Auction, an Antique 1920’s MASSIVE 12ct Natural Emerald with Tourmaline Hand Engraved 10k Solid White Gold Men’s Ring in EXCEPTIONAL NEAR MINT CONDITION! This HEAVY 9.0 Gram (0.32 Ounce) Whopping 1/3 Ounce Original Antique 1920’s 10k Solid White Gold ring is set with a Stunning MASSIVE 18x13mm 12ct Natural & Genuine Emerald Cabochon Gemstone. Including the frame the top of the ring is almost 1 inch long! This Genuine Emerald is a Beautiful Domed Top Rectangular Cabochon cut. Cabochon refers to a gemstone that has been shaped and highly polished instead of being faceted. This is an all Natural & Genuine Emerald and is guaranteed as such. This Emerald is a deep green color and has fantastic luster. The dark black and grey areas are the natural Tourmaline veins. Tourmaline is a gemstone that occurs in a range of colors and in this case has formed in a natural emerald. This is a great emerald has many pretty veins of tourmaline running through it. This Emerald is in PERFECT PRISTINE CONDITION and is free of any chips, nicks, cracks or scratches. This Solid 10k White Gold Setting has beautiful HAND ENGRAVED Details on the reticulated shoulders of the setting and around the emerald. This classic 1920’s Art Deco ring also has fantastic Hand Milgrain details around the bezel. Milgrain edging looks so beautiful, appealing and interesting because the beaded patterns is able to make the ring’s edge resemble the edge of a coin. A specialized jeweler’s hand tool is used to create interesting texture that is said to resemble tiny beading or embroidery This large emerald is held securely by a complete bezel setting. Regarding Ring Sizing: Be wary of any online seller that offers sizing of a ring before it is shipped to you. Due to differences in measuring devices and the way certain types of rings fit these rings should only be sized in person by your local jeweler. Sizing by your local jeweler is relatively inexpensive and you will have a ring that properly fits your finger. All size 9 rings are not the same. The ring may fit on a mandrel and measure as a size 9 but the way the ring is made, the way the ring has been enlarged or reduced, and the finger type you have may make it fit like an 8 or 10 or worse. Have your sizing done in person for a proper fit.

The tall measurement is the distance from the bottom or shank of the ring to the middle peak of the gemstone most easily measured when wearing the ring and placing the hand flat on the table and measuring the height of the ring from the table. The wide measurement is the width of the ring from outside to outside at the widest point when looking at the ring from the top. The rise from the finger measurement is the height of the ring from the finger to the peak of the gemstone when worn.
