An antique American Chippendale miniature chest of drawers, measures 14 1/8″ high x 14 3/8″ wide x 8″ deep, I believe of Mahogany, finely detailed mixed wood inlays, old stencilling, remnants of old original blackened finish in certain places, such as under the brass knob pulls and joints, hand cut dovetails, pine secondary wood back and drawer construction, old square head nails fastening the back of the drawer bottoms and fastening the back of the cabinet, the bottom and legs redone somewhat crudely in the 1980s in part, see pics.
