An amusing antique treen snuff box with a print of a Victorian couple with dog searching out a rat.
It is entitled “Smelling a Rat”.
The inside bears evidence of the silvered paper lining but most has gone.
Size; approx. 3 x 1.75 inch.
Condition; Without cracks or splits. Some age related staining to the edges of the lid and rubbing to the edges. The hinges are fine and it opens and closes well. A small nibble to one of the corners but nothing of any great significance.
