Heavenly antique 1920s white gold work flows around this glorious French Art Nouveau ring, like spun white gold from a fairy’s loom. Definite French influence from 90++ years ago. There are tiny carved Fleur De Lis designs marching around the entire mounting, and encircling the huge Bohemian garnet center stone. 2 large carved FLEUR DE LIS symbols also adorn each side of the 3D white gold band.
Entire ring looks alive and in immaculate condition. Some of the absolute finest story filigree work you will ever see. Tiny ribbons of white gold, makes me think of a spider web of white gold filigree work. Enchanting!!
The 3D style white gold is marked 14k, and also jeweler signed with the initials,”Ä+S.” Our jeweler has also tested the entire ring and it is solid 14k white gold..
This treasure weighs a substantial 5.20 grams of 14k white gold and garnet. Very heavy for a filigree ring.
The filigree white gold band is a size 6-1/8, and we can
resize for a nominal fee.
The center stone looks like a big fat Red Sapphire, with fire breathing from every gem millimeter. This natural Bohemian Garnet is approx. 16x12mm in size and weighs approx. 9 to 10 carats. Nice high dome and Pomegranate blood red color emanating for the depths of this Old World Slavic Garnet.
There is a luscious almost pearlescent strand of tiny, and I mean tiny seed pearls that encircle the big Bohemian garnet. These tiny seed pearls appear to be strung on gold colored wire, and are firmly in place.
This glorious antique almost 100 year old ring treasure is in fabulous showroom condition. The filigree work is beyond reproach.
The mounting is approx. 3/4 of an inch long running with Yoruba ring finger and is approx. 1/2 to 5/8 of an inch across your finger. These old seed pearls rings are hot as blazes, and with big Bohemian garnet center stones, they are coveted like they are Mannah from Heaven.
