This is an original , Antique , American Flag measuring 35 Inches by 24 Inches . It is printed on Silk and remains in remarkably fine condition ! There are tiny holes in two corners ( from hanging ) and scattered small thin areas . The piece has been folded in a box for many decades and the fold lines need to be ironed out . The colors remain quite bright / vibrant . There are no signs of staining .The ends of the Flag feature a stitched hem . The 37th State , Nebraska , was added in 1867 and the flag remained with 37 stars until the next State , Colorado , was added in 1876 . This is a wonderful , period , example . It has come to me from an old farm estate along with other antiques & primitive items . I endeavour to have an interesting and eclectic variety of items for sale .
