Ca. 1920 Celluloid ~ Looks just Like Tortoise Shell
(2) Art Nouveau faux Tortoise Shell Boxes
This is a Great old Lot of two Circa 1920 Celluloid Dresser boxes featuring a Gorgeous faux Tortoise Shell design that Displays very nicely. These pieces would be right at home on your Turn of the Century Vanity. These pieces most likely Held facial Powder once upon a time but their size lends them to many new applications & uses.
Both boxes are in Good Displayable Condition. One of the boxes has a very light crack in the top which is holding nicely and is really of no concern. The other box has an old glue repair to the top which still displays nicely though it is noticeable. The body to one is in great condition while the other has very light chipping around the lip & base.
Both Pieces Display Very Well & will Function without Issue.
