1927 Elgin 17 Jewel 14k Gold Filled Pocket Watch A
This auction is for a wonderful antique pocket watch. According to the Serial Number 30202135 this watch was manufactured in approximately 1927 with a 17 JEWEL movement. This watch is approximately 42 MM across without the crown, and weighs a total of 57.9 GRAMS. Keep in mind this watch is over 75 years old. The CRYSTAL is intact. The DIAL has a series of marks we have tried to highlight in the pictures. The crown will engage to set and wind. All hands are present and working. Pocket watch movement WAS NOT working at the time of this listing, though it has not been inspected closely or tested for accuracy and may require a cleaning or repair to maintain working order. The outside case is Decorated, but is worn and scratched along with all opening sites. Still a wonderful example from this era. A number of high resolution pictures and scans have been provided.
