1911 ELGIN Watch Co 15J Pocket Watch w/ 14K GOLD US Assay Case & Fancy Dial
This auction is for a wonderful antique pocket watch. Be sure to view the pictures and you will see this is an excellent ELGIN WATCH COMPANY pocket watch MADE IN THE U.S.A. Serial Number #15090933, this watch was manufactured in approximately 1911 with a 15 JEWEL movement. The case is 32 MM in diameter measured across without the crown and weighs a total of 30.5 GRAMS .
The CRYSTAL is intact. The hands, including second hand, are all present and working. The DIAL is fancy and through the crystal, appears to be without damage. Crown will engage to set and wind. The pocket watch movement was working at the time of this listing, but as it has not been inspected closely or tested for accuracy, it may require a cleaning, adjustment or repair to maintain working order. The case including dust cover, is 14K GOLD and marked as such on the inside cover. The outside case is engraved on one side with three initials. Case is lightly scratched and all open sites are also lightly scratched. A really beautiful vintage time piece. So view the pictures, judge for yourself and then bid accordingly.
