Antique Meissen Porcelain Pair of Gardeners
is a very rare find, it is an early example of a Meissen pair of gardeners. The meissen mark dates to around the late 17th century, a period when Meissen created gilt lace figurines. You can see the extraordinary detail in these figuines, they almost look life like. The each have an impressed no. 11 to indicate its a pair, the female figurine has an incised no. 36 and impressed no. 56. Please take a look at the pictures, these figurines are just amazing.
